Linqz is a free, independently operated personal-finance calculator site covering India and the United States. It’s built and maintained by a single operator, Vaibhav, rather than a large editorial team — which is exactly why we lead with methodology, not just marketing copy.

What makes Linqz different

Most calculator sites — including several run by banks, brokers, and even some official government tools — stop at the nominal number: your EMI, your maturity value, your projected corpus. Linqz goes one step further on almost every calculator: taxation of the output, inflation, and fees are modeled explicitly wherever they legally apply, so the number you see is closer to what actually lands in your pocket rather than a headline figure that ignores what the tax office or a fund’s expense ratio will take first.

Every calculator that supports it shows three figures side by side: the nominal result, the post-tax result, and the result in today’s money (inflation-adjusted) — rather than making you guess which one you’re looking at.

How the calculators work

Every calculation runs entirely in your browser using standard, published formulas (compound interest, amortization schedules, published tax slabs and thresholds). Nothing you type into a calculator — your income, loan amount, investment goals — is sent to our servers or stored anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Tax rules, slabs, and scheme rates (PPF, SSY, SCSS, federal tax brackets, and similar) are checked against the current financial year and updated when they change. That said, tax law is complex and jurisdiction-specific — always verify anything that materially affects a financial decision against an official source or a licensed professional. How the site is funded

Linqz is free to use and funded by advertising and partner/affiliate links, clearly labeled as “Partner pick” wherever they appear. We do not accept payment in exchange for changing a calculator’s math or a review’s conclusions.
